Deep garnet in color, the Three Blocks Syrah is the epitome of this cool-climate varietal. Medium to full bodied, this Syrah exhibits aromas of blackberry and blueberry pie with a touch of black licorice and lilac. The palate has soft textures with flavors of black berry, vanilla and black pepper. The round, smooth mouth-feel with soft tannins and a silky texture leads to a long smooth finish. Serve with meals of game birds, venison, pork, lamb and rich sharp cheeses. This syrah will enhance with bottle age.
